Save a Lightworks Project or Backup in Any Way?

Hello, I get very paranoid when creating projects that some system failure or power outage is going to hit and I’ll lose all my work. So I like to save my projects every 15-25 minutes.
I can’t for the life of me find how to save videos in Lightworks.
How do I backup my project or save it so I can be safe? Or maybe even duplicate the project so if I screw something up I will still have the saved project set to the side.
Thank you!

I’m not sure why you have trouble. Lightworks is constantly saving your projects. However, you can still make several backups on purpose if you want.
All you need to do is select the exporting tool, select to save the entire project, select Lightworks as the main formatting, and select make backup.
Save it in any location and choose to add media or not.

Thank you so much! That was exactly what I’ve been searching for the last 4 days. I always like to have backups.

I think you might be missing something regarding how Lightworks will save videos. Unless there is a catastrophe and everything fails at once then you will probably never even need it. Remember you can always leave a project where it is and return to it exactly as you left it.
The most significant failing point I have ever had with the software since starting to use it 10 years ago was:
A massive storm hit the building we were in as we’re filming an enormous film (you’ve heard of it and seen it most likely). It happened at the precise moment we were going over the scene in extreme detail.
To our luck, the building we were in had a generator backup which cut all electricity on within seconds. Luckily, we only lost about 5 minutes of work, but it could have easily been the entire project if not for LW auto save.

I appreciate all of the responses.
I will try to find a way how duplication works within the software but haven’t quite figured it out yet.
I know my question was very basic and seemed crazy, but thanks for taking the time to respond.
